I selected the 'Pay in full' option since I'm financing from a third party bank, and I've already uploaded my insurance. I think I should be good for delivery?

Good. My understanding is once you complete the payment and insurance details, I believe you will get an automated text to schedule delivery given that your EDD is 9/14 - 9/20. All the best

Yeah saw and gone already too. I'm so close to delivery that unless one pops up in Camarillo in my spec I'm fine waiting. Should be a good sign these are showing up though!

My thoughts exactly! I wish I knew under what circumstances they decide to sell demo vehicles. Part of me is convinced it can tell us something about timelines but it's probably nothing

Saw someone on reddit reporting their 8/8 OD in Bay Area for MYP black on black got VIN yesterday and delivery scheduled for 9/16. Anyone else west coast with an same time/earlier OD still waiting on VIN? Wonder if it was luck or a sign of impending VINsplosion

I just pulled the trigger on an inventory MYP that had my same config. Vin shows 230, so looks like it's missing biodefense but whatever

I'm in the same boat as you. I think we can assume it's happening before the end of the month at this point (but who knows). Since we're close to Fremont, Tesla knows they can fit our deliveries in last minute if needed.

Seeing how close you are, you will probably be one of the last deliveries of the quarter. Just speculation, but it seems to he how they operate at EOQ.

Got my VIN this morning. EDD changed from 9/15-9/28 to 9/14-9/20, delivery hasn't been scheduled yet. Order date - 7/28

Wow Congrats, we ordered 4 days before you and still haven't received our vin. Congrats!

I think it's a blessing and a curse lol. On one hand it seems like we wait longer, but on the other hand, there's probably a bunch of people getting deliveries by EOQ that would otherwise wait until October if they lived somewhere else

Got an update, +2/-1, now at 9/16-29. Pleased to see the end date come in even if only one day.

OD 8.30 - EDD bumped from 9.14-9.30 to 9.18-9.30. Im out of town 9.24 - 9.28.. 100% chance they set my delivery date as the day I leave. lol

Sharing my delivery experience and expressing gratitude for everyone before who shared theirs because I would never have thought to look underneath the car or seats or check for a loose spoiler.

1. Spoiler peeling off
2. Missing fasteners under the rear end
3. Torn seat cover strap under driver seat (never seen that in these forums before)

Otherwise, everything was tight, no panel gaps or misaligned doors, frunk, or hatch. While I wish they would have found these things themselves, I'm very happy with the Carlsbad SC. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Tesla mobile service is coming to my house on Thursday to repair all of those and install the roof rack, mud flaps, and homelink.

PPF and window tint next week.

A friend of mine has a 2020 MYP and said "good luck with that" when I told him Tesla was coming to repair the spoiler. He said they replaced his and the new one starting peeling off from the other side of the car. Just something he's chosen to live with.

9/14-9/27 is now 9/16-9/27.
The wait has actually gotten easier now that I know I’ll likely be the last couple days of the month. An original EDD start date of 9/5 had my hopes up but now that I see the trend going on, I’ve been able to chill out on it more haha.
