Ouch, I don't think I'd survive that. I get hot summers and cold winter (relative to Southern California), but nothing that bad.Dude, we get -40 (minus) and a normal winter temp is -20 to -30
Same. 19” Vredestein Quatrac Pros.I'm just swapping to all seasons since I work from home.
This is what I’m doing. I ordered some Martian 19s, if those ever come.Same here, plan to permanently swap in 19s with all-seasons. My MY LR did just fine last winter on stock tires even with the cold and feet of snow we got.
Ah, same here. Picking up in NY and they have already told me that assuming car shows up in winter that they will not swap out tires I bring with me! Right now who knows when the car will really arrive - so we'll see what happens.Yeah same here. Live in Wisconsin and will take delivery in Schaumburg, IL.
I had several back-and-forth emails with my sales rep out of the Minneapolis store about getting a set of winter wheels on my MYP at delivery so I can safely make the 2 hour trip back home. Both of the winter sets Tesla sells are out of stock and furthermore, since I do not own the MYP yet, I cannot make a service appointment to swap the wheels. The sales rep spoke to the Schaumburg store and since they are really busy this time of year they will not be able to accommodate me.
So here we are- I'm buying a $76k car (in cash) and Tesla can't even be bothered to help me get it home. So much for their priority of safety. I'm literally going to bring my own wheels, jack, and tools and change them out in the Tesla Schaumburg parking lot. I'm sure the optics are going to be great for potential customers.
I see don't single Performance model in that video. Was looking specifically for carbon fiber spoilers on either of the two types and didn't see one. At least amongst the white and red ones. MSM and Black were harder to tell.If so.... They're probably all sitting in the south bay on a container ship right now, waiting to get a berth at Port of Oakland along with everything else on the planet that isn't doing the same thing down at Port of LA. I flew over both in the last week and they both have a huge number of container ships awaiting offload.
I image that they're sitting next to; 2 containers of rubber dog poo and a container of useless crap you see in the checkout aisle at any 7/11 or Circle K. Important stuff.

Did anyone else see the Fremont flyover video posted 2 days ago on YouTube? I have a hard time telling between the 3s and the Ys. Someone else take a look and tell me you see a yard full of Ys sitting there.
I bought new ones and had TireRack install them on the wheels. They source OEM TPMS which came with an invoice from Tesla and TireRack marks them up for installation. What’s everyone that’s getting new wheels/tires doing about TPMS… moving them over or new ones?
I’m still undecided. Prob going to buy new ones and sell the originals with the UTs
Thanks for sharing. That’s depressing frankly because I think you’re right. I didn’t think any of them were MYPs (wasn’t pixel peeping, hope I’m wrong).I don't single Performance model in that video. I've always preferred America's Tire Company. If you're near San Diego try TAG Motorsports (high-end).Anyone know of a good place to buy tires/wheels in Southern California? I kind of prefer a shop to ordering ones online.
Thanks, San Diego isn't that close, but I have friends and family there so it would be a chance to show off the car.I've always preferred America's Tire Company. If you're near San Diego try TAG Motorsports (high-end).
Part shortages or not it seems pretty clear that since the EOQ push we MYP's have been asked to step aside so MYLR's can get made. Thanks for sharing. That’s depressing frankly because I think you’re right. I didn’t think any of them were MYPs (wasn’t pixel peeping, hope I’m wrong).

Fingers crossed this results in a VIN for you, and open floodgates for everyone else!My window keeps getting shorter and shorter! The most recent ones were 10/1 - 10/22 and then 10/14 - 11/24, then 10/18 - 11/2 then 10/21 - 11/2 and now 10/24 - 11/2. Smaller and smaller! (OD 8/29 with original EDD 9/12-9/30)
Interesting. I didn’t get a full set from them because they didn’t have the MY/refreshM3 TPMSTSportline winter wheel sets come with the new TPMS.
