Is it safe to say if I place an order today for a MYP, Tesla won’t make the estimated delivery date of March 2022 like their site currently says?

99% safe, but you never know.

Should I be concerned that everyones MYP is in the 37XXXX and mine is 369XXX. Its not even at the SC yet. lol

No. You are in northeast and takes time to ship and with delays can affect. Mine is 364 and I don’t have it yet and won’t until next week due to shipment and weather delays.

Austin starts shipping. East coast people go on hold or reject Fremont builds. After mid March 100% of those go to California / West Coast

They’ll make it, especially given your in SoCal. Probably end of March, maybe even last day..

Just got my VIN and am disappointed its a Fremont vehicle.

Is there any chance that any of the vehicles coming out of Fremont have the 4860 or made with the new Giga press casting?

Interest rates are going up, I already locked in a 1.99%, I really want to initiate the delayed delivery since I don't emergently need a vehicle right now.

Risk a interest rate increase to try and get a Austin vehicle or take the potentially substandard Fremont vehicle?

That is correct. I ordered a MYP on 1/28 and within 48 hours it slipped to April 17-May 15. I ordered a Red/Black interior/no tow/no FSD

I have not seen many MYP Blue/Black w/Tow deliveries. Only a couple people waiting with and w/ out VIN's. Is Blue Not a very popular color? Is there a place to search a % color wheel or graph? Like 35% White, 30% Black, 15% Gray, 10% Red, 10% Blue

I’m confident Tesla will meet their official statement from the earnings call of delivering Austin vehicles before quarter end. And once the first report of Austin VINs start, the East Coast holds will rain down.

If you can get a hold of them, yes, get something in the calendar for delivery. I was communicating as much as I had to with mine.

no it is not. Elon will take your money and delay your car every month.

If it’s more than a quarter out I agree. But once you are within 4-6 weeks and have enough evidence it’s time to believe. They might only deliver 100 cars but I’d put cash on them delivering cars out of Austin by end of March.

So Cal - our wait has been 90 days and counting - no vin yet. End of March is <60 days away. It could definitely happen, but read back last 6 months of this thread and you will see many more people waiting longer than initial EDD than less.
