That's odd. My delivery is 2 weeks away and Already have the option. Assuming you upload insurance info?My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow at 12, but I still don't have the option to "make your final payment". Any advice on this?
Are you paying cash? I simply handed over a certified check (add name and RN# to memo line) after I inspected by MYP on 3/5 when I picked it up. No way was I paying it up front without seeing the car. The car was flawless. My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow at 12, but I still don't have the option to "make your final payment". Any advice on this?
Why did you go with MYP in the first place? If it was for performance you might wish you had waited. I had a 2020 MYLR and in January got a 2022 MYP. I love the MYP. The difference between the 2 is noticable.Inventory long range or new performance
Hi, so I had ordered a Model Y performance. It wasn’t scheduled to arrive till June, I saw a long range inventory car with 800 miles pop up and took it. I’ve got a delivery appointment for the inventory car on Friday, yesterday I got a VIN for the performance and an EDD of March 28-31. Can’t decide which one to take, I would of course love the performance but monthly payment would be higher and the only difference is 0-60 along with harder suspension. On the other hand it has 15 miles vs 800 on it and is the performance. What do you guys recommend, is there a noticeable difference between the two (inventory car vs new, not long range to performance). They both have AMD and are white on white.
I had ordered the performance because the EDD was sooner than the LR. Mainly looking to know if the difference between new and inventory is noticeable. Why did you go with MYP in the first place? Can you speak on the noticeable differences besides speed??Why did you go with MYP in the first place? If it was for performance you might wish you had waited. I had a 2020 MYLR and in January got a 2022 MYP. I love the MYP. The difference between the 2 is noticable.
The LR is most likely a demo, so take that for what it's worth, most likely not driven by testers with as much care as you the owner would drive it. Also if you take an inventory unit, are you paying the new prices or the price you locked in when you originally ordered, that could make a different as well?I had ordered the performance because the EDD was sooner than the LR. I’m paying the price of when I locked it in, same for the performance. The LR is most likely a demo, so take that for what it's worth, most likely not driven by testers with as much care as you the owner would drive it. Myp has a lowered suspension, brake calipers are red (not sure if they are actually upgraded, and had a spoiler. It also comes standard with black uberturbine rims (21”) whereas for the LR variant, standard rim is Gemini and for 2k you can get black 20” rims. Can you speak on the noticeable differences besides speed??
Pretty sure you can find some posts/videos about the difference in brakes. Looks like for MS plaid vs LR, the brakes are still the same...which is ridiculous.MYP brakes are supposed to be larger than MYLR. Whether that's internet hearsay I don't know.
OD 1/17 Original EDD 3/15 - 3/31 just updated to 3/22 - 4/5. MYP White/Black No FSD No Tow.
Also the pedals are upgraded, the LR are base rubber/plastic and the Performance are aluminum alloyMyp has a lowered suspension, brake calipers are red (not sure if they are actually upgraded, and had a spoiler. Don't forget the Matrix headlights on the MYP!Also the pedals are upgraded, the LR are base rubber/plastic and the Performance are aluminum alloy
Being in houston, curious if you had any small defects with home delivery enough to schedule a fix? Or was everything 100% up to par? how much time did you thoroughly check the car when they deliveredJust reporting in for the last time to this thread. Home delivery took place earlier today, everything was really great, couldn't be happier. I wish everyone luck with their orders.
For me I like the firmer ride vs. MYLR and the way it handles when you punch it. My 2020 MYLR was a little squirrelly when I floored it. Those are the most noticeable. I also like the way it sits a little lower and I like the 21" wheels. Can you speak on the noticeable differences besides speed??
is the ride much harsher on the P?For me I like the firmer ride vs. MYLR and the way it handles when you punch it. My 2020 MYLR was a little squirrelly when I floored it. Those are the most noticeable. I also like the way it sits a little lower and I like the 21" wheels.
