Recommendation for front windshield tinting in Bay Area, CA for 2022 Refreshed Model X

Hi all, I'm looking for a recommendation for front windshield tinting in the Bay Area, CA.

I was considering OCDetailing, but wanted to see if there are other alternatives in the Bay Area?

I always tint at Mr.Tint in San Jose (Stevens Creek), done 70% tint on the whole windshield, all seems to be great so far, no issues. I always use them on all my cars, my 5th so far, including CRV, Civic, Odyssey, Model S and Model X

OCD is just too busy lol had to wait 2 months vs 1 week

Is your MX a refreshed 2022? OCD was telling me that there could be an issue with unplugging the 2022 refresh MX front camera on the windshield which would need an AP recalibration ($500). Wondering if you ran into the issue?

Which film did you use? Ceramic, 3M?

no, mine is 2019 100D.

I got 3M Crystaline all around , 70% windshield, 70% front sides, 50% everything on the back

the whole car was $2100 and 2 days of work, you can request a quote here quote they reply in about an hour or so

Cost: $500 + $50 tips because they were really nice and charge so low compared to other shops

can you tint windshield? by law you cannot even ting 70% on front windows.

You technically can’t but I felt like I was baking under the sun so we decided to take the risk. The tint is pretty light.

Just got my Model X Plaid fully tinted all around including the windshield. Looks amazing. See pics for details.

68 Auto Detail is wonderful. They had 7 other Teslas in there on the same day and got them all out. Incredible quality and great staff.

Went to Mr. Tint once and they completely ruined my back window and wouldn’t replace. Just my personal experience there.
