Looking for some good products that people have used on their Tesla. We take delivery tomorrow and I'm already thinking about how to best keep bugs off. I think it would be nice to have some cleaner with a microfiber cloth to clean bugs while charging at supercharger. Just don't know what product to grab. Also would love some recommendations for regular car wash stuff and waxes and protectants and such. Thanks!

I use the Griot's brand for all my home car care needs.

high quality, decent prices on Amazon.

Having applied XPEL and cQuartz Finest, I became a big fan of CarPro products. Reset for washing, Reload to keep the cQuartz conditioned, as well as Iron-X and PERL etc.

I can second the recommendation for Griot's Garage products. Used to use them extensively on prior vehicles, much less so now that both of our Ses are coated (OptiCoat Pro and cQuartz).

I keep a bottle of Meguires detailer and a microfiber towel for quick cleanup.

    Or
    https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G7624-Class-Premium-Detailer/dp/B006FUT0AK/
Both seem better than the many others I have tried.

As for paint sealant, I really like Menzerna Power Lock

As for actual wax, I really like One Grand Blitz
    Untitled (one Grand's web site)

As for interior cleaner, wheel cleaner, soap, I really like Sonax stuff
    Home (Sonax's web site)

This is what my professional detailer recommends, as well. And these are not expensive products. I love PERL for the tires especially. I used these exclusively on my first Model S coated with CQuartz, and use it on my current one coated with gtechniq crystal serum. I just saw my old car last week, she still looks brand new after over 3 years and more than 50,000 miles!

I completely agree with @jdw. I am completely obsessed about car care. Once I discovered Carpro and CQ Finest, a whole new world opened up for me. Two years in and she looks as good as the first day. I am just getting ready for her next redo and am looking forward to it.

I've been using Zaino products on all my cars for 15+ years, and the results are not only stunning, but easy to maintain.

Never a car nut until a platinum s.

Now I've memorized every detailing video on YouTube and have three shelves of product and microfibers.

But the best thing I did was spend $500 on a super detailer when I got the car.

The initial protection keeps the car cleaner overall and much easier to maintain.

They did protection on the whole interior, exterior, glass and wheels using high end products like some listed above. Cq etc.

Now my glass and wheels etc. stay cleaner and are much easier to keep clean.

Saves tons of time and work.

And I like the Adams polishes products a lot. Not what my detailers used there's a good number of quality brands out there for you to choose from.
