Recommendations on wax for shining the car

I get the car washed outside but would like to start waxing the car on my own.

Could you please recommend a wax that I should use for my Model S? How frequently should I wax? Any other spray/liquid that I should use for shining the car?

Griot’s Garage makes amazing stuff.

For in-between washes I use their Speed Shine. It’s really great.

Most any good quality wax or polish will make your car shiney and water will bead up.

Rule of thumb is to wax about every 6 months if your car is exposed to elements. Also time for another coat when the water stops beading up.

Many have their own favorites, but little gives me as much satisfaction as putting on a fresh coat.

I also tend to wax before a long road trip.

Between waxes you can also use an easy to apply detail spray after a good wash.

If you want to try the current trend on waxing check out the Sonax Spray N Seal. I tried it and I'm hooked, it lasts for 3 to 4 months and is effort less. I even asked my detailer which dosen't sell it and he it very good. Attached is a video.

I use P21S wax. Unlike most waxes, you don’t let it dry before wiping off. So it’s very easy to apply and wipe off.

This is great stuff. My detailer uses the same 2x per year with 2 coats.
Pure Carnauba wax and no synthetics added.

I know this response come a bit late, but I love the Zaino products. I've been using them for more than 10 years now, and I'm always getting complements on the showroom shine my cars have...especially my Tesla. I'm picking up my new 100D this Wednesday, and it will definitely be getting the Zaino treatment.
