I created a document a few years ago to help people locate electricians in their area to install their HPWCs. I originally created this document for Atlanta members but was thinking recently about expanding the document to other areas of the country. Could you please help me by commenting to this thread with the name of the electrician you went with and their website? I think this would be a great reference for all future owners. Below is a link to the old sheet which I hope to update. Thanks for all the help!

Thanks Chip. I think it may have been on view only earlier but I think I've changed that.

Thanks again for the information. Hopefully we can get a pretty extensive list around the country as I know this is something that people will need going forward.

This would be a good thing to add to Angie's List: http://www.angieslist.com/electrical/

I have the impression that electrician work in my area costs more than average, but I don't have a way to confirm or refute that.

Angie's list has both customer reviews and also "deals" that local businesses post. One thing about it that I'm not so sure about: I see no deals or customer reviews of any kind for electrical work in my area (within zip code); I must be too rural. I'm thinking this works better for metropolitan areas, for a special thing like electrical work.
