Thanks for the info! I just called him, booked an appointment and purchased 2 certificates.
Anyone who paid the "Reg $220" price for their "Model 3" must be upset that they missed out on this sale now that it's only $180...
I paid the $ 220 for my Model S and in hind sight...worth every penny. Things get cheaper and sales do happen.
I guess you missed the point of my comment. The Model 3 isn't out yet so no one could have paid the "Reg $220" price.
I got it! hence my model S statement!
I might just go for this on my Red P75D! lol!
The red calipers look great!
Update to my first post: It's been roughly 11 months with the red paint Calipers done by Spence tires and I have to say the finish is still perfect. I've driven roughly 19k over the period and through this winter and I'm pleased to note the paint, clear coat and decals have held up like new
I think you still don't get it because my comment had nothing at all to do with the Model S or X.
It was a joke/sarcasm because the Model 3 is not out so it was not possible for anyone to have paid the "Reg $220" price.
I almost want to drive to Canada to have it done. Anyone have luck with someone like this in CA?
You would have to pay Canadian customs and duty!
My appointment is soon. Should I go with red or a different colour? I'm thinking Ferrari yellow/gold, or Lambo/Porshe e-hybrid light green...
Go for red, every other colour will look like a cheap Ricer mod.
And for our California friend to come here to get it done would be advantageous because CAD$ 180.- is about US$ 138.-
How about dark grey? Lol!
Red! It screams 'Performance' vs other colours which essentially just say 'racer mod'.
Makes sense. Thanks everyone!
Another vote for Porsche 918 Acid Green calipers ...
I went today and had Spence paint my calipers and plasti-dip my rims. HE IS AMAZING!
Rims look great, can you get something matching for the lugs? How much to dip the rims?
I did this to my rims last year and asked Tesla what they did for the dark colour turbines. They provide black lug covers. From Tesla these are over $3 each (x 20 nuts) but I found a set of black and a perfect set of red on Ebay for about $5 for the whole set.
