I paid the $ 220 for my Model S and in hind sight...worth every penny. Things get cheaper and sales do happen.

I guess you missed the point of my comment. The Model 3 isn't out yet so no one could have paid the "Reg $220" price.

Update to my first post: It's been roughly 11 months with the red paint Calipers done by Spence tires and I have to say the finish is still perfect. I've driven roughly 19k over the period and through this winter and I'm pleased to note the paint, clear coat and decals have held up like new

Go for red, every other colour will look like a cheap Ricer mod.

And for our California friend to come here to get it done would be advantageous because CAD$ 180.- is about US$ 138.-

I did this to my rims last year and asked Tesla what they did for the dark colour turbines. They provide black lug covers. From Tesla these are over $3 each (x 20 nuts) but I found a set of black and a perfect set of red on Ebay for about $5 for the whole set.
