Red or Grey? Looking for pros and cons. I'd be ordering P85+ with pano, grey wheels, CF spoiler, and plans to tint windows. I've downloads pics of red and grey cars from here and view them constantly and I still can't decide. Maybe it's because the pictures of red and grey aren't very good at times and that makes it difficult.

I’m guessing you might not rank this aspect that high up, but the red probably makes for a more visible car. Perhaps the red could save you from being rear ended by a distracted driver one day.

See for example:

And as it were, that car hit by the truly giant Geländewagen driven by a sixteen-year-old appears to be grey…

And just in case you would happen to be so inclined… Pearl White or Silver will reflect more sunlight

Silver is also a practical color from a dirt accumulation point of view…

I always wanted the red, only bought the grey so I could have a Model S while waiting for the red to arrive... can't say there are any pro/cons of either aside from I really like the red/grey... :)

fiksegts, your pictures are the best and have me wanting red! What are your pros and cons comments of each color?

I had the exact same dilemma not so long ago (not the P85 tho) between the red and grey, and in the end I went for .....green!

I couldn't decide between the 2 colors, went back & forth hundreds of times in my mind & even went to the service center see the 2 next to each other, I am glad I got MC Red.

I've found the multi-coat red hides the dirt pretty well ... unless it gets filthy.

We have been pleasantly surprised to see that our multi-coat red does a great job of hiding dirt. This is our first red car and we totally love this red and have received so many compliments on the color.

I have red and it is awful, shows the dirt, really, flashy, sexy just down right bad, bad, bad. No redeeming qualities at all. Do not get red. I will have to sell mine if everywhere I go I see red!!!!!!!
