I have made a few referrals this go around and I was wondering how redemption works. I have two referrals to outside owners and I referred myself so hopefully I'll get the set of archnids, but my question is, When/ how long does Tesla contact me or send me my loot?

It took me 8 months to get my arachnids. 6 to get my bag. No idea if the jacket will ever arrive.

Basically don't expect them anytime soon.

As a follow up, a friend used my code to order an inventory car 2 days ago. The referral doesn't appear on my Tesla page yet. Does it take time to update, or does it appear only after order confirmation?

As what I have heard, you will not receive any gifts for using your own referrals.

Referral delivery doesn´t start before the referred car is deliveres, and can take weeks/months.
