I do not like the open grain finish on the wood trim. Much prefer the lacquer or equivalent kind of finish. Has anyone refinished their wood trim in that manner? I see there are some wood appliqué kits out there but do not feel up to trying to install it and have not found anyone in Portland that does that kind of interior work.
