Refresh Model S Rear Seat With 3 kids.

Hi all. I’m curious how the width of the rear seats work out with someone in the middle seat. In the 2021 Model Y if a booster is in the middle it overhangs the buckles and makes it hard for the kids to buckle in.

Anyone tried putting one in the refreshed Model S or fitting three people back there? I’ve seen posts about legroom but nothing about fitting three.

Its will be a very tight fit depending on size, i can take a pick of my set up tomorrow, i have 1 front facing and one rear facing

That would be great! Would you mind doing a quick measure of the width of the middle seat- basically seat belt buckle to seat belt buckle?

These are the pics I found earlier that I tried comparing with the Y. The seat belt strap on the Y for the middle seat is about two inches opposite of the buckle for the person sitting next to them.

There is roughly 11 - 12 inches between my car seats. I do have pretty large all age car seats. Thinking i may switch slim down one at some point if it i get annoyed

2 rear facing on the sides (using LATCH), and a booster in the middle. It's hard to buckle in the middle... I've been doing it for him whenever we have to cram in all 3... but I'm looking to buy a short extender so he can do it himself.

WTH, I don't think that is an approved method of installation.

yeah i dont want to use the latch extender (tho i've seen other's who have used it here), so I swapped out the booster for a narrower one and just buckle my kid in myself

Rear seat in the new MS is pretty TIGHT. Certainly for anybody over 5' 10" or so.

Much smaller interior overall than my MY P. I was honestly expecting the rear area to be bigger than it actually is. If you
put down the center console it's even tighter.
