Finally got assigned a VIN today. No delivery date yet, though. Ordered 9/29, but changed to white interior 10/17. I’m in LA (lower Alabama for the unenlightened) so I’ll be picking up in ATL when the time comes.

So do you get a text when a VIN has been assigned or does it simply just update on the website?

Just had mine updated to a more realistic Dec 7-13 here in Toronto. Which lines up with what the SA said a few weeks ago of delivery to Toronto on Dec 6.
Glad to be getting it, still excited.
But the most aggrevating part of this process is the realization that Tesla knew in early October that none of us would be getting a car until mid December. For sure. Some people from the last batch even called it, it's always a huge dump at the end of the quarter.
Despite that, they just completely failed to give an even remotely accurate timeline, even knowing for sure what it would be. Wouldn't even be hard to do. Probably a single SQL query would do the job.
I really hope that another car maker gets their act together and starts challenging Tesla on the tech front. Because until that happens Tesla will not improve their customer relations, and will just keep coasting on their technological edge.

Into Norway? Into Tesla in my city? God only knows
I just got my VIN for one of my 2021 Model 3 performances. Still waiting on my 2nd order but I’m in utah! Just wanted to update & see if this helps others!

Good to hear people are receiving their vins. Just checked nothing yet for black/white m3p. Happy thanksgiving.
I also have nothing M3P red/black. But hell I only ordered on 11/21 so I can’t complain I guess.
Just logged in to see if i had my VIN but saw my trade in offer had expired. does anyone know if this puts me in the back of the line once its re-appraised or do i keep my spot?
Just checked my account (again) no VIN yet. Ordered 10/31 Red/black interiors. Delivery in Jacksonville, FL.
