Refreshed “2021” Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

Welp, I thought I had avoided some of the misery and woe that you all have experienced but it was too good to be true. Ordered 1/22/21, received a VIN about two weeks ago and was scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I've funded the loan, added the car to insurance, whole nine yards... then this afternoon I get a call from "my" SA (first time I've actually spoken to him on the phone) telling me the factory sent a European-spec car and that I won't be able to take delivery tomorrow.

I've berated him a couple times and demanded that they start searching inventory or snag one coming out of the factory, still waiting to hear back but am not super optimistic.

Soooo if anyone wants a Euro-spec M3P in MSM, there's one in Houston for you! And if anyone is going to unmatch from that config for any reason please let me know... honestly so discouraged right now and am half tempted to cancel the whole damn thing and go buy another Audi or something.

Unbeliveable! I ordered a MSM with black interior the first week of January got my Vin 913XXX with a delivery date on Monday. What was your Vin #? No one has called me so I am hoping everything is OK and if something crazy happens with mine I'll PM you.

My SA reached out and said delivery is probably at the end of March. I just ordered a MYP and he said that could come at the end of March as well so whichever comes first I’ll take.

I got a Feb built car with a VIN of 914XXX what is the build date on your 913 VIN?

Thanks! Spoke too soon though. Just got a call from the service center. They said they noticed a cosmetic issue with the car and needed a couple of days to address it, before rescheduling delivery.

Seemed fishy, so I pressed a bit. He indicated there was a problem with one of the wheels. I told him I had been out to see it, and it all looked fine to me, but he was insistent that they deliver a perfect car that passed their QC process.

I told him I was disappointed, but appreciated them addressing whatever it was. He indicated they would be back in touch tomorrow or Wednesday to reschedule. Sucks, but it's a busy week at work anyway, so it kind of works out.

No, all of the cars parked around it had black interiors. Probably 40 or so Model 3/Ys in total.

Today was the day. SA drove my car to the house and quickly helped me accept delivery. Took about 10 minutes as his Uber ride was waiting. Car looked great. Nearly a full charge. Heated steering wheel. No panel gaps, no scratches etc. I’m very happy.

Ordered 2/22/21, been checking my account daily and noticed that the window keeps moving back a day. 2 days ago it showed march 22-31, yesterday it showed March 23-31 and today it shows March 24-31. No VIN yet.
