Made it out of the waiting room on the 23rd. Had a few minor issues that will hopefully be taken care of at my service appointment on the 30th.

Overall, I’m happy!

Still no VIN but $5000 grant already applied including the $1500 clean fuel reward for a total $6500 off. Order in mid-Oct. and was told delivery will be within the last 3 days of the year.
When did they apply the grant? My agent only asked me to take a photo of the approved mail packet for him and never heard from him back again. I'm kind of concerned now. No VIN for me and estimated is Dec 25th-31st. Good luck!

Wouldn’t you have to meet the income requirement to qualify for the $5k grant? There is a maximum annual gross income depending on the number of people in the household, by which according to the numbers, you would be considered low income anyways and owning a Tesla shouldn’t even be considered.

Unless I’m thinking of another grant?

Eligibility - Clean Vehicle Assistance Program

Pretty sure they know the grant has income eligibility since they were already approved for it lol.

True, what I actually meant was why would someone purchase a Tesla if they are considered low-income. Even with all the combined rebates and grants they qualify for due to their low-income status, how is this a wise financial decision?

I’m not hating, just genuinely curious!
