Ok, so a got the front seat door windows tinted to match the back, and I had the front windshield tinted too.
Now… it’s been 2 weeks since install, can I safely put a GoPro suction cup mount on them or will it ruin the tint?
Why are you asking the internet? Ask your tint installer. PS, any tinter worth their salt, their tint install should be good to go 24 hours after install to roll windows down and no movement should occur.

You were misinformed. Email Jorge [email protected] he'll get you straightened out. There is no price change other than configuration changes. I changed my 05/21 order int color and # seats from 5 to 6 w no base increase. Many on here have done similar.
Hi all, I’ve emailed this email address and made it attention to Jorge. What is the turnaround time if it works? If it works, how would you know? Jorge replies back? Can anyone give me detailed insight on what took place etc? It’s been a few weeks, I have not been Vin’ed yet but have not seen a price reflection of any sort. (Ordered in Oct 21, changed color in Nov 21, new price increase took effect, no support from SA) Thanks in advance. Congrats to everyone else getting their cars.

Been following this thread for a while now and thought I'd share the disaster of a car that was waiting for me today at the Tysons Corner service center. Originally ordered white on white Plaid w/ 20 inch wheels in January 2022. Changed my mind a couple of times on color and ended up going back to the same combo in March.

Like many of you, my delivery date was stuck on October 2022 until the end of May at which point it bounced around with the last range being July 17 - August 4th. Then on 6/3 got a VIN and notification to schedule delivery on 6/4. They gave me a whole 5 - 7 days to get financing lined up (check from bank still not not arrived as of today).

Cutting to the chase, received a VIN in the 3447XX. When my wife and I showed up, car looked good from far but was far from good. In no particular order, here is the list of things that we discovered in about 15 minutes not even using the delivery checklist:

1. Molding on bottom of driver side door had clip that needed to be pushed in (I fixed it but how they didn't see this I will never know)
2. Cooling seats didn't work on driver's side
3. "Obstruction detected" message when trying to close driver's side FWD.
4. Rock chips on front bumper
5. Trunk alignment was terrible and even delivery specialist admitted it looked bad.
6. All four captains chairs has wrinkles on the seats
7. Molding above glove box on passenger's side was not seated. Suspected it may again be a clip but I couldn't fix it.
8. FWD handles recessed into door and not flush.

Other than that, she was a beauty. Even the service advisor recommended that we reject the car which is exactly what we ended up doing.

As a shareholder, I was glad there was literally a line out the door for other customer's accepting delivery. As a customer, this is piss poor, especially for a vehicle of this price range.

Here are pictures of 2 of the 4 captains chairs. I didn't take any more pictures once it was evident we'd be rejecting it.

Our seats have the wrinkling also. Answer they gave me is that it will stretch out and the foam will expand to fill most likely. If not, they will take care of it in a month or so.

What's the paint drop issue?
This was some of the bad paint and a pretty large gap too. SA recommended rejected based on multiple paint and exterior issues. I never even sat inside or got to open doors, windows, etc.

They tried to clean it and compound it off and said that the paint was damaged on both sides. In addition there were circular swirls on the hood that they couldn’t remove and suggested the car would need to be repainted.

that's bad. I've seen gaps in many MX so far.

If this wasn't Tesla, they wouldn't survive this crap. I hope competition catches up!

I got the 2022.16.1.1 update today. Idk if that’s recent, latest, or old, but it was a pretty good jump for me from something like 2022.11 or something
Same. Only software issues I’ve had the past few days since Saturday pickup:

1. For the app tray, I would drag down and rearrange stuff and the next day after recovery from deep sleep, it would all be reset.

2. For autopilot setting, I toggled “no” for “confirm lane change” under “navigate on autopilot”. Again after deep sleep recovery, would default back to “yes”. Annoying AF to find out on the freeway.

Hopefully this update fixes all of this.

Sun visors are perfectly tailored to work in conjunction with the sunshade. It's a perfect fit. If you don't use the shade, you're wondering wtf. Possibly the answer might be, start using the shade more often.
The sun visors suck WHILE driving. I never used a sunshade (on the windshield) while driving. Maybe you do ;) But I used one while PARKED In the sun and yeah it fit fine and that about the best use of the sun visors.
