@Wooly1 you know what’s gonna happen? They will take all the plaid orders that aren’t 6 seat and move them to “LR” model X’s and put them in a “priority” list and give them cars before us.

According to design studio, Plaid only comes with 6 seat option now, not sure when it changed. Others seeing the same?

I have a 7 seat plaid option on order so we’ll see what happens with that.

Wow this is true I wonder the reasoning behind it….5/7 seaters pushed back even further??? Regulatory issues with plaid 5/7? Who knows lol

While you might be right re: supply constraints, I suspect it has much more to do with reducing production complexity/maximizing profits. There may simply not be enough 5/7 seat plaid orders to justify making them. It’s probably easier to just reach out to people like me and change the orders (new price tbd). Now the base plaid order is higher priced (but still cheaper than MS plaid, which is weird.)

Patience. The 6 seater is useless for cargo. Track mode will come to Model X also as it is due for Model Y. Patience.

The EQS SUV is soon in the pipeline.

Hopefully the plaid change was just to simplify production but does make me very concerned for my 5 seater.

I could use a six seater if I have to but it absolutely ruins the whole big cargo aspect of folding down the seats and making a run for some lumber at your local hardware store. I plan to actually use the utility function of my vehicle.

Missing tow hitch cover, bad fwd alignment and bad gaps.

Wow. One thing to spot an imperfection up close, or with a magnifying glass, but the average joe could spot that from 30+ feet away. Almost looks like the FWD has been repainted. That's my fear and that's the type of vehicle I would walk away from. I don't think any amount of surgery could correct that. I used to appraise cars for a living and one would be highly suspicious of prior accident damage the way it looks.

Tesla changed my Plaid 5-seat order to 6-seater and increased the price. LOL
