Sounds like more and more SAs are reading this thread. If you’re an SA…

Welcome to your real training.

You know… you may be on to something. I heard from a brand new SA today (not the one that’s been ghosting me for months):

My tweet has almost 1K retweets, maybe that has something to do with it, I doubt it though. Tesla doesn’t care about optics, just supreme customer service, right?! 🤪 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

…and just when I‘m down on myself for my delivery window moving to March, I just got a call and text from Tesla asking me if I want to take delivery on Tuesday (Irvine, CA)! Sweet!!!!! VIN now posted as well in the app: 7SAXCBE52NF331xxx. Fingers crossed it looks good and I take it home :)
Congrats!! I guess Californians deserve something for all of their high taxes they pay. But I’m starting to believe that the MX is a car only allowed to be purchased by Californians.

Congratulations 🎉

Looks like you spec'd yours with the 22"s; I did same, and received a word of caution from my Delivery Specialist on those slugs that insert into the wheels. Thought you might find a previous post I made on the matter helpful:

...and this one regarding the Keyfobs:

Excellent heads up and I did see that previous post but appreciate the reminder. I actually like the look of them so will see if they have them installed or not and will make a decision then.

Seriously - I don’t think anyone in the east have of the country has gotten a LR VIN in weeks… ridiculous…

If they're trying to optimize for 'strong' Q1 delivery numbers, it makes sense they would try to focus on quick turnaround deliveries by reducing the logistics. e.g., CA / Bay Area. Which is not to say, I think that's the right approach - at least, not when your customers can speak to one another, and get rightfully pissed off at the unfairness.

Well we do get our just dessert, and that is living in a monumentally gorgeous and enterprising state! I just wished all Californians like me would get their MX's first since, yeah, they're made right here in Cali. Just kidding on us getting ours first, a little.

You are right. I don’t think Tesla likes this thread very much. We are lot more educated. I imagine Tesla prefers us being clueless.

Overall, I’m very impressed w this refresh compared to older model X. They even gave me a 2018 X loaner and it was night an day. Suspension and interior is quiet and much smoother ride. Ergonomic of center console and phone charger made it simple and less cluttered. I prefer the yoke over wheel after about a week of driving. The efficiency of motor is improved about 25%. My average normal driving the loaner 2018 X is 400Wh/mi. The first week of my LR is 300Wh/mi. Not scientific but I feel it’s about 20-25% more efficient. Lastly the sound system is really good. I feel the bass was bit much for my liking so I turned it down a bit. Mids and trebles is crisp without distortion if you crank it up. I’m sure the bass would hand just fine as well.

Hope many will become Vinner soon and enjoy the ride.
Thanks so much for this! How are the seats compared to the 2018. Any thoughts on comfort?

Pfffft. Nothing beats Texas and Elon has recognized this. We will get first dibs on the Cybertruck. Y’all do have great weather though.

Update: Sounds like parts are coming in soon to Fremont for some of us that have been waiting -if things can get done faster there than moving to a sales center 20 miles away, and 'rectified':

Checking back in from Virginia. I have a order date of 1/6/2021 and my status is still TBD (switched from February 2 weeks ago).

My build is FSD, Red, white seats, 6 seater. I don’t know if this helps but my order is marked as “priority” because they messed up the order pricing. Can this be a miracle and get my model x in February?

No. Musk is too busy tweeting about Joe Rogan (which is kind of creepy if those aren’t your politics) so I don’t think there’s much effort being placed on expediting our cars.
