I'm not sure what to believe because looking at conversation history, at first they said they ordered in Feb. Then "at the beginning of March". And then "on the day the prices increased", which is apparently March 15, but still trying to confirm that. Their story is changing a lot.

It could be possible though. Blue\Cream is probably not a common color, so if someone rejected it or couldn't take delivery they might have just found whoever a recent order was to sell to them instead.
Yeah and to be fair when I first got in this forum I didn’t remember my order date. I mean I had placed the order whenever and didn’t really obsess about it, since always I knew it was going to be a while.

My "Story" hasn't changed, I just wasn't accurate with my dates. ;-) I'm guessing you aren't the only one that doesn't believe, someone keeps deleting my info on the google doc, but whatever.
The car is awesome and I'm loving every minute of it.

March 15th 2022 per spreadsheet
But nothing to back it up until I see proof or just some BS tro_Oll
Wow- so much for being a supportive forum. I love the positivity that is flowing from some of you....

Perhaps you should learn to be kind and welcoming to newcomers and not a complete douche. It isn’t my job to prove to you that Teslas order system is all screwed up, but it is, and it worked in my favor this time.

Great help in the measurements BUT you skipped the interior measurements on the frunk. Please update or provide via this medium the interior dimensions of the frunk. I want to be assured by a neutral party that my golf clubs will fit! Thanks in advance(the sales contact told me the dimensions were exactly the same but I have already seen views of the front cutout being replaced by a tow hook storage piece. )
Sorry, I am working on a detailed storage video.... But here are some images I just took for you. Hope they help. Good Luck.

Sorry, no offense intended. We have actually had one or two cases of trolls coming in and do that exact thing where they kept reporting all sorts of conflicting info.

I did delete a line of your info from the sheet, but that is because it was in there twice. I just looked again and your info is still there.

I sure miss the days when you could open up this forum and see all the vins assigned. Ready for that to happen again.

It was always nice to see 2 or 3 pages of people saying they got their VIN. This thread is pretty reactive to what Tesla is doing and quite frankly Tesla is doing almost nothing right now when it comes to assigning newly built cars. Just seeing the odd delivery here and there.

I always feel better when they are actively assigning VIN's out. Right now it's hold and wait and it sucks.

Just to add on, there was a large batch of us that had the April 24 - May xx delivery window, with some even getting VIN's, before Tesla pulled back the VIN's and moved the delivery window back out to July. I am hoping that all those cars that were expected are still out there, sitting in some lot, waiting for parts before being assigned again. It seems likely that once that "hold" is released, a lot of us will be back on track for near future deliveries.

I've been pinned! I've been pinned! Tesla and I are going steady. Whoops, make that vinned.

Came today. The specifics:
Vin #: 7SAXCDE56NF34xxxx
The Vehicle: 5 seater, metallic blue, FSD, LR
Delivery Window (subject to change): 4/29-5/4/2022
Car Status: Made, in California, to ship by rail to Birmingham, AL, then by truck to delivery center.
Delivery Location: SS Kennesaw, GA
Tesla Contact: Delivery Specialist called this afternoon to confirm contact info. Said I will receive a text to schedule actual delivery sometime this week.

Only took 15 months. No sweat.

BTW, I consider myself extremely lucky in one respect. I decided to finance through the credit union where I do my banking and they're STILL offering a 1.99% rate on new auto loans. I'm planning to pay for most of it in cash, but there's still a decent sized BMW deficit versus what I'll put down and what I'll finance. Given what's going on out there with inflation and so forth, that's really low rate. Hope to lock it down tomorrow.

PS I was soooo excited to tell you guys that I won't be bitching here much longer that I accidentally posted this in the M3 waiting forum by mistake much to their puzzlement.

Congrats!! Inspect it as if your life depended on it. And do NOT be afraid to reject it if it doesn't meet your standards.

Congratulations! Hopefully this is an indication that VINs are starting to flow again. We’ll need a tsunami of VINs soon to get us cars by July.

Thanks. There will be three of us inspecting the X and I even downloaded a checklist app to make sure we don't miss anything.
The most important ones are 1) try pulling seats out to make sure they are bolted down, and 2) open and close your FWDs to make sure they don't fall off or have metal rubbing places.

It's a sad reality.
