Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

Just got my VIN today for White on Black, 6 seat, LR with 22” wheels. Original order date was May 21, 2021.

Changed my configuration twice. 5 seat to 7 seat then to 6 seat at the end.

Located in Northern VA, EDD is now August 14-18.

Prior to getting a VIN EDD was August 11 - 29. Prior to that it was August 11 - Sept 1 and before that it was July 28 - Sept 1.

Got the Delivery hold email on July 21. Hope this helps.

Kinda crazy what little up charge it takes to get into the Performance 3 or Y.

Only a 15% up charge added to the base for you LR X guys to get into a Plaid. DoIt.gif
I wouldn't have the will power to hold out, especially seeing all the Plaiders getting VINs so much sooner.

Early orders is a $30k price difference between LR and Plaid. If back then it was only $18k that would be an easier pill to swallow

Making me jealous. I’m in Richmond with 3/28/21 OD and EDD of 8/2-8/21. No vin and very similar config. My time must be coming!

The MX Plaid difference is even tighter than that. Remember, Plaid price already includes $6.5k six-seater option whereas LR does not. It narrows to 9.45% with today’s pricing (if you were planning to get the 6-seat option anyway).

In Europe plaid vs non plaid price difference was only 5000eur so with jump from 5 to 6 seater option plaid was cheaper thab non plaid

Not arguing with your numbers but that makes no sense. I mean it makes ordering a LR make almost no sense unless you are absolutely set on 5/7.
