Satisfaction with a Tesla is often determined by the vision of the owner. If you spend all your time inspecting and being upset by exterior imperfections, you are missing the real value of a Tesla. That is looking at the goodness and great driving experience it can provide. No more smelly gas stations, oil changes, tune-ups, muffler replacements, gasoline smells and that God awful rattling that comes from underneath the hood when idling.
No more waiting for a transmission to shift into a desired gear, driving a top heavy car because the engine raised the center of gravity, worrying constantly about the price of gas or what burning so much of it is doing to the health of people all around the Earth. Putting little stickers on your windshield to constantly remind you when your next overpriced oil change is due to consume hours of your life. Needing to rev your engine almost to the exploding point to reach maximum horsepower output etc.
Little tongue in cheek, but it is often focusing on imperfections that can keep you from enjoying the ride.
