Did you got the keyfobs and how do u know the date of birth? does doc has the date?
I asked about free keyfobs but service said they confirmed not included. Then service estimate showed $217 estimate for key fob. Told them $175 on website so why $200+? Said they charge a service fees and will take 2 to 4 weeks to receive. WTF. Told them to delete and i'll just buy online. Of the 6 Teslas I bought, this one makes me question why I bought it. QA is terrible and wait time for appt to fix 14 issues is even worse.

Well after my hold, the same 375xxx VIN was assigned to me a third time. 🙄 luckily the SA has been very easy to work with and released it from my account. Hopefully 4th times the charm.

For those wondering they did update me that it was manufactured 30-Nov-2022. So that is quite a while ago to make the drive down to SoCal.

Took delivery yesterday! A couple potential issues.
Steering wheel seems like it has a wire through the middle that curves.

Weather striping on FWD isn’t secured on one side

When folding down middle row, it leaves a hump

Not sure if FWD alignment is fine

Is the FWD supposed to be touching on the back but not the front when it is opened?

Also still don’t have the 10k supercharging miles in my account and charger code doesn’t work.

Congrats on getting the car, but UGH man this would piss me off. The end of quarter/year rush worries me. I still don't understand how a $120k+ car can have such defects upon delivery. Is it just me?

1) Steering wheel "worm" is normal part of air bags. Usually won't fix.
2) Hump not normal.
3) FWD not normal.

Looking for some advice TMC...
MXLR, Red, 6 seats, black interior, regular rims, with FSD to SoCal
Order July 2021. Original EDD January 2022, progressively moved back, usually in big chunks. Since mid October, it's essentially been a sliding 3 week window, nearly slipping day-for-day. As the holidays approached, we were travelling out of state to see family for the first time since before COVID. When the delivery window started to intersect with this time period (out of state Dec 19 - Jan 4), I proactively notified Tesla via text, and they acknowledged my travel, but didn't know when a VIN would even be assigned. I departed for my trip and out of nowhere, received a VIN on Dec 20th. Got the text to schedule delivery today and the only options were December 26th and 27th. I contacted them, they said no problem, we'll place it on hold until 1/1/23 and then it would get back in queue at that point. Great! Plenty of time for VIN, financing, and delivery scheduled for after returning from my trip. Then they respond, saying they made a mistake, the last day they can hold until is 12/25 (as in 3 days from now). I also got an email saying this is the final hold (this is the ONLY hold, I got the BS email over the summer saying it was on hold and no more holds would be allowed) and that if I was unable to take delivery, the order would be cancelled. I responded, respectfully expressing my displeasure that we've had this on order for almost 18 months and proactively notified them I was unable, and yet they're waiving order cancellation in my face. I'll take the hold until 12/25 and see what happens, but I don't have a great feeling about being able to delay this until after we return from our trip. Any insight into how flexible Tesla might be? Or any advice on what to do in this situation? Frustrating to have been waiting 18 months while many people here have waited far shorter times and be in this situation where Tesla is refusing to wait more than 3 days.

Not sure where you are located in “USA” but go to tesla.com under “existing inventory” to see what's available. Attached are a listing for black w/white interior Plaid and Long Range that are currently available near me.

Can you have someone take delivery with power of attorney or similar, if necessary?

Picked up my LR 5-seat yesterday-my FWD alignment looks like yours on top but doors seem to operate fine and overall alignment when closed looks good so…. Don’t mess with it??? Dunno.

Our SC person said the free supercharger miles should show up in the app around Jan 6.

I got the updated screen, very happy with that.

Yeah they told me Jan 6. Unfortunate as we’re taking it on a long road trip now and likely won’t go on one next year :/ not the biggest deal though
