If your talking about the ultrasonics they have all been cut out so that no film is covering of the sensors!! I used the autopilot quite a bit on my road trip last weekend without any issues, and use the parking sensors daily as well without issue!! Ive put 1300 miles on my car since it was wrapped without issue.
The clear wrap and the black vinyl are 3M products... Only the painted black or red bits like the chrome on the mirrors and all the emblems and rear appliqué are not 3M matereal. Id agree with the tesla tech that the ultrasonics can not be covered but most wrap places know this as its true for all cars not just Teslas and cut the Paint Protective Film out accordingly to clear the sensors / not interfere with them.
