Maybe it's my combination of Macbook/Chrome, but any time I want to read a blog post, I get served up ads with some kind of auto-refresh or something, and when I try to scroll down to read the rest of the posting I get dragged back up to the top again. As a supporter I didn't think I had to see the ads anyway, but even so this must make the blogs unreadable for many people.

Can you add in a URL to a blog post that you can repro the issue on? Bonus points if you can add a screenshot of what you're seeing. I'll see if I can repro it on my Mac as I'm also a subscriber.

Try doing a hard refresh of the page.
Cntrl Shift R for Chrome on PCs.
We're working on filtering out the ads on the blog for supporting members, though they aren't the direct reason for this issue.

OP, FWIW, on a post like this one: Optimistic Elon Musk’s Moonshot Method I'm not seeing any issue on my MacBook Pro, which is running OSX 10.13.1; and I tested on Chrome 62.0.3202.94 and Safari 11.0.1.

Edit: And as a supporting member, I do currently still see banner adverts on blog posts.

It's been happening for me for a few weeks now. Chrome, Windows 7. Pretty sure it also happens with macOSX. Supporting member.

Happening right now with the post linked above.

Happened to me a min ago. Running Windows 10 and Chrome. After 15 secs I stopped page loading and then refreshed via F5. I have been having problems on my Android LG V10 cell phone with ad pages loading for several seconds in mainly in app chrome browser.

I've had the same issue both with desktop (Chrome on Win7pro) and phone (Chrome Android). Hitting the "X" (stop loading) button seems to work for it. Only see it on the blog posts, not main site pages.

Same here. Chrome on MacOS High Sierra. Ads refreshing every second or so, and page scrolling back to top. Doesn't always happen.

    Here's screen capture video: Dropbox - wtf.mov

I wish I could read the article but it keeps auto scrolling to the top every second or so.
