Regen doesn't fill up regen line display?

Just curiosity if max possible regen is supposed to go all the way to the end of the power/regen line.

Car fully up to temp
Power/regen line doesnt show dashed line for limited regen
Regen setting is to standard
Car has no traction issues
Battery not anywhere near full

From any speed, a full lift off shows regen bar going to 80% or so. Never to the end of the line. Is the display meant to have that "headroom"?

What trim do you have? I have an SR+, and for me the last few dots are usually there unless I'm under 50%, probably due to having a smaller battery pack.

SR+ here, and mine does about what yours does, 80% regen at best (no dotted lines, not fully charged etc.)

Exactly. It never goes to 100%. That's why I wanted him to try going down a really steep hill and just let it coast in D.

M3 regen is equivalent to about 100 hp braking.
