Regenerative braking setting in V. 2022.16.1.1

I’m on 2022.28.2 and I just noticed that this option no longer appears. Had it when first released.

Weird. Maybe they're having trouble getting consistent calibration on certain models. Did it work well while it lasted?
I still have it on my 2022.28.2 and I use it every day. It's flawless.

Yeah, seemed to work well for me. Strange. Had the car in for service on Wednesday to have new computer installed. Rear camera, TACC AND AUTOSTEER were not working. Got it back with 28.2 installed but that regen option is gone.

I still have it but when I toggle it on and then exit the car or if I change the driver's profile to someone else's, next time I'm back in the car it is toggled off.

Is this by design, to only toggle it on when needed?
I have tried to set it a few times, even rebooted the screen to no effect.

I had it in a previous update several weeks ago, then lost it in a subsequent one. I liked the way it worked at higher SOC.

It's possible that they are only putting it on vehicles running FSD. Mine has it but my wife's new car does not.

I do not have FSD. Drove it this morning and, same as the first time, regen is so much more consistent with varying SOC points. At 90% the car doesn’t run away when I lift off the go pedal. Acts the same at 50% as it does at 90%.

Same here. No FSD and have an option for regen breaking.

I had the setting in .16 but after I stupidly "upgraded" to .40 (oops) and the computer wiped all settings/profiles, it's no longer there. Haven't had cold enough conditions or full enough battery to test whether the now-hidden setting is in On or Off position though.

I find the same behavior in my 2018 model 3 and my 2022 model Y. Both running version 2022.36.20 software. When I put the car in park the ‘apply brake when regenerative braking is limited’ toggles off

I'm not experiencing the issue. Auto apply brakes stays active with my profile whether I am in my car or my wife's.
