Teslas language on used cars on their website tells owners to expect various cosmetic things like scratches etc that do not impact the usage of the vehicle.
On a personal level, I could never spend that much on something that was used, and not look at it first myself. There are some scratches / blemishes I might be fine with, and others I wouldnt. Many people have a good experience with buying them used, but I dont think I could buy a vehicle sight unseen that wasnt new (thus supposed to be in new condition, "tesla QC" notwithstanding).
I would suggest asking someone at tesla, I am interested in the answer. I suspect its either "not possible" (which would be strange, frankly) or "sure, but you lose your deposit / any shipping fees" (which I think is more likely). I dont know, though but am interested in an academic way.
