Remotely popping open door

im not sure if it is either, but if it can be done with the drivers door, why couldnt it be done for all 4?
I'm saying that I didn't know it was possible with the driver door. It's not possible on my Model Y.
i think it is possible...unless i read it wrong. i know it was rolled out with a SW update in response to frozen door handles. i have a model 3 so i never paid attention if the Y has that too, considering its nearly the same car

In the Tesla app across the middle there should be a line of shortcut buttons. Tap and on hold one of the shortcuts and it gives you various options you can drag and drop to replace those buttons and change the order. One of the options should be a driver door release shortcut.

@tackleberry23 As to the possibility for opening one or more of the other three doors, you'd probably have to petition Tesla to add that functionality.

Not that I'm aware of. Just being curious... what's your intended usage? I can see being able to open the driver's door (if stuck) could be useful but why bother with the passenger side rear door (for example)? Opening the door for somebody you're picking up without having to get out of the driver's seat? Might be good to have this in a pouring rainstorm I guess.
tons of possibilities.
it could be used for rideshare for people that dont know how to use the handle
its convenient if someones hands are full (family or friends getting to your car)
if the other drivers door was too frozen, etc etc etc
found this app today and this was in the functions list.....you can use your watch as a key also, and the phone app has premade siri commands that work fantastically.
that requires you to add a wiring harness under the console for them to work if i recall right?
i like the idea of the buttons but the app does more. the buttons are grossly over priced unfortunately.you asked the question I gave an answer. The buttons obviously do more beyond pop open the doors
