I have sold 3 batteries already.... 2 for guys who upgraded their car and did it themselves. And one guy used it for solar storage!

"Tesla will absolutely unequivocally refuse to install it" Source? I am not saying they would necesarily install it but don't understand why not if it has documented history and tests ok.
I understand Tesla won't support wrecked vehicles but would be interested to hear what their stance is in regards to used parts.
Like others have said if they won't install it you can perhaps use it for solar storage. Or perhaps for building a modified car/hot rod or something like that

Its Teslas attempt to keep the market prices including parts high. I have done a few of these rebuilders now and have absolutely got zero help from them.
