Removing FSD Beta

I've seen this question asked a lot and I just got done getting the answers on how to do it correctly from Tesla so I thought I would post the proceedure here for those wanted to enjoy the latest software rather than FSD Beta. This is the current most up to date way to do it as of 10/24/22.

Support Instructions:
1. On the screen press the car icon in the bottom left corner and click on Autopilot.
2. Under the Autopilot menu (depending on your software version) there will be an option to Opt Out or to simply make sure the FSD Beta Option is OFF.
3. Send an email to [email protected] and write a sentence asking to be removed from the FSD Beta and that you would like the latest software package instead.
4. Within a few minutes you will recieve an automated response. You must reply to the automated response email with your VIN number to be removed.


I just submitted the request my self, I do not know how long the request takes to process yet, but when it is processed the update should be pushed to your car,
just connect to wifi, download, and schedule you're install. I hope this was helpful.

By the end of the year, Tesla says the FSB Beta will merge with the normal update process, so FSD Beta will be on the current release. Yes, I know, we are talking Tesla timetables, so maybe it will be a few more months.

It’s been almost a week since I sent that email
And replied with my vin. Maybe soon they will remove me.
