My 2018 72 amp wall unit quit working after a lightening strike to my house. I quickly ordered a new unit (not near as powerful) $500+ install. A few days ago, I read that the chargers have a built-in surge protecter. I didn't ask my electrician to check to old unit. Does anyone have any experience about, "fixing," a damaged charger?
