Hi!
After about 3 months ownership, twice now our LR dual motor baby threw 3 errors, each shows in succession...
Regen braking disabled
Emergency braking disabled
Cruise control disabled
Contact Tesla Service

On the first occurrence, a reset brought all systems back. I was compelled to contact service and report it and ask what the logs showed. The lady said "You did the right thing, and that the logs didn't reflect anything. It all looks good now" which made me wonder if she was really looking at the logs.

Two days later it threw the same errors and a reset did the trick again. I was just wondering if anyone here has experienced anything like those errors?... and what if anything resolved the situation.

Thanks for your time!

Did you recently get updated, maybe to 46.2? This happened to someone on another forum,

"Just got 2018.46.2 8f8dc1b pushed and installed this afternoon. Took the car to run some errands and all was fine but when I got back in to go home and stepped on the brake got 4 errors in rapid succession. Drove home on side streets about 2 miles slowly and called Tesla. Long story short they had me do a reset by pushing both steering wheel buttons and it cleared the errors and all is working again. Thought I'd share in case anyone experienced it. Was interesting as the agent said he was getting this same error a lot today."

This happened to him on Monday. If the reset doesn't get the job done, contact SC.

Thanks! That's reassuring that it's software not hardware.

I got the same errors Tuesday on the way to service so timing was perfect. Did the reset about 3 miles away and it did NOT work. So just left it at service for them to fix. SA guess it was a firmware issue....standard tesla response.

We had same error messages on our two week old dual motor immediately after updating software. A reboot fixed it—for a half day. Next day, same problem but after driving five miles, parking, then starting up again. Second reboot did not fix the problem.

Several hours later, rebooted again. So far no warning signals.

Have been in touch with service advisor. To my mind, no question that it’s from the software update. Hopefully a new version soon to fix the bug.
