I recently replaced my rear door handles and made some notes on the process. I know there are a number of threads on replacing the door handles already here on TMC, with folks chiming in on their procedure for doing so. There are also some great videos online showing the process; however, I know some people like complete written instructions. For me, the best way to learn a complicated procedure is to watch some videos for overall familiarization and then use written instructions while actually performing the task. That way I'm not starting and stopping a video repeatedly while working.

Anyway, I offer these instructions, for whatever they're worth, to anyone who is thinking about replacing their rear door handle. The usual disclaimers apply: these are my notes, I'm not guaranteeing they're perfect, you perform the repair at your own risk, and blah blah blah.

I posted it on Scribd for everyone's convenience. (BTW, the wording of the link is Scribd's doing. I'm not sure how the heck we got to "door screw.")
