So I hate the blind spot on the X, and the lack of a usable system. It goes against my 30 years of driving to look forward to check a blind spot. In the past before BLISS and other blind spot indication systems were invented I used convex mirrors or the fisheye mirror. I found some convex mirrors and installed them, but to my surprise there was more wiring in there on the original than the replacement.
Above is the original, below is the new one.
I've emailed the vendor, and it's not cold enough to really test if it's working. There's no errors or nothing. I got them from suma performance. Just curious if I should be worried about that extra wire or not. they work great and solve the blindspot problem for me.
