Request: 3M Crystalline Pics w/ White Interior

Hi Folks,

I have a tint appointment scheduled next week to get 3M Crystalline on my blue with white interior P3D. I'd be getting 4 windows + roof in 1 piece. I'm not planning to tint the windshield or the front roof.

My options for tint in the 3M Crystalline is 20 or 40.

I'm afraid 40 might be too light, and 20 might be too dark. Not a major difference in heat rejection, but was hoping someone here had it done and would be willing to share some pictures.

Thanks!

I went with a 20% back and 70% front. I live in California and the cops love writing tickets.

I tinted with 3M Crystalline 40 sides and 1 piece back glass with Llumar CTX 30.
Yes, it looks very light on the white interior.

I don't have white interior but I did my car in 3M Crystalline 40 all around except windshield which i did in 70. I was concerned about it being too dark but I love it.

We had both of ours (red with white interior and silver with black interior) tinted identically. 20% rear and rear passenger windows. 35% on driver and front passenger windows. No tint on windshield or roof.

From the outside, the the tint on the red with white looks significantly lighter. From the inside looking out there is very little difference between the 20% and 35%.

Thanks all!

Mahkus, your pictures are definitely helpful. I think I'm going to go a bit darker at 20% because that seems awfully light. Did you also have the front roof tinted at 20%?

I had the front roof done at 40% like the others. I'll eventually have the windshield done with 70% but I have to wait a week and a half to have it replaced due to a crack.

The 40% looks light in pictures but is darker when you see it in person. Those pictures before were also in full sun. Here's another picture in different lighting.

So I ended up with 20% on all 4 windows + 1 piece rear. I took a couple pictures. The tint is pretty reflective, so maybe not a great photo, but will give folks an idea. These photos were taken on a sunny day, but the car was in the shade.

One thing I've definitely noticed is the tint is fairly brown when viewed from the inside, which is different than the outside, where it's a bit bluish. Definitely looks good from the outside, I'm a bit ehhhh when it comes to the view from the inside.
