Can a prospective buyer ask for a different color? Personally, I hate white. Boring. As one could probably surmise from my avatar. I mean, really, can one choose another color than white?
The Model S is the flagship of the Tesla fleet, being roomy, quiet, powerful and quick. We have a 3, but it's for my wife. I'd guess that 90% of our Tesla miles are put on the S. Sure, it may cost twice as much, but with Teslas likely to last around 600,000 miles, do the math. If most other cars last 100,000 to 150,000 miles, that's four to six times longer than other cars. Which means it costs a fourth to a sixth of what other cars cost. Sure, I'm all in for owning a car that gives me this luxury for about a fourth of what other luxury cars cost. What, about $30,000? Such a deal!!!
