We finally finished with retrofitting automatic charge port that older Model S cars didn’t have at the time. Required alot of cutting and a custom bracket to make this work.
Car is now ready for our next Retrofit. To be continued.

(1). What is the approximate cost?

(2). Is it using a brand new charge port purchased from Tesla or is it a charge port pulled from a parted out vehicle?

(3). Also, is a vehicle firmware update required for the car to recognize it, or is it plug ‘n play?

1. We are figuring out prices at this moment to make it appealing to our customers. This retrofit takes about 1-2 full day to complete with a custom bracket.
2. We can use new or used. Of course used will be alot cheaper.
3. Redeployment is required.
