When i checked yesterday I was extremely jealous that mine still said on a vessel, but today it says its in Tilburg!

Great news! Can you let us know when your started and ended production? Apologies if you have already posted this in the past.

My X is apparently going to get to the SC at Heathrow first week Jan. That's confirmed per my DS, although the website still says it is 'in production' (and has said same since the first week of November, despite an email confirming it had finished production 11/11. I am just presuming that some barcode just was not scanned somewhere among the way). Thanks

Hooray, mine saying Tilburg also now. Watched the video, looks like they do a bit of lego style assembly and stick it on a lorry.

Mine too. Finished production on 8th Nov, status changed to being in Tilburg 16th Dec.

According to the Tesla generated emails, started production 3rd Nov, finished 4th Nov!
My DS emailed on 25th Nov saying will be ready for delivery at West Drayton week of 9th Jan.

was a bit vague. Has your car entered/completed production yet? If it hasn't, then the delay is no big deal and will not affect the completed cars already on the boat to Melbourne.

Thanks to this thread I decided to Question Tesla Australia on their email to me stating "all model X build & deliveries delayed to end of March. Stated I was aware some already built and in transit so are "all" model X delayed or just mine?

Tesla amended their email and confirmed some had been built and in transit and my X is now scheduled for January production

So much for December / January delivery

No Murbs, in production que so knew the time line was out the window before the email. Called them out on trying to tell me porky pies. Must say so far the Tesla experience is just that - an experience

Welcome to "Tesla time" Bears.
Like all large (particularly American) companies, Tesla lives and dies on their quarterly results of delivered sales. They usually start each quarter building export cars that take weeks to ship to their customers and end the quarter building local cars for immediate delivery. Your car has obviously been bumped into their next quarter since they would have had no chance in delivering it before the end of this month.
Hopefully in the end you won't have waited too long to finally get this amazing car - by the time mine arrives I will have waited for more than 1000 sleeps since I first ordered it

Is it true that cars for export are manufactured at start of "Quarter"?

Hopefully my delivery date holds true.

I've heard one of the first customer cars is being delivered today. My car is still saying it's in Tilburg though, the originaly date was supposed to be next week but I can't see how they can make that now. Car would need to be transported here, registered, PDI, etc. So looks like Jan for me.

These Tesla emails are farcicall . My DS said my X is in production on 26th Dec. I immediately told him that I wanted to disregard the advance autopilot option. Last Friday I reminded him again but I received a tesla email saying my car is in production. Yesterday I received an emIl saying my tesla is complete and is enroute to Digbeth however delivery will not be until May 2017!
What nonsense? Everything seems to be done before the original build date of 26th and I'm thinking that it's just a ploy so that I can't cancel any options.the fact that my car is complete and will now be static for 5 months is also questionable.

If it was just the Enhanced Autopilot you wanted to drop I wouldn't worry too much - they'll be able to remove that up until you take delivery as it's a software switch rather than something that is added/not added to the car during build.

If your car is built I'd expect you will get it Feb/Mar.

Couple questions. Any must have accessories that I should buy now? All weather floor mats are still sold out on their web site. I am in LA so I am not sure if that is really needed. Suggestion?

Mine still in Tilburg which means it's been there at least as twice as long as it was at the California factory. I was also advised initially that it *might* be ready for collection next week but don't see that being possible now so am assuming Jan.

Pretty much, some X's already built & en route to Oz but balance scheduled for January production now. Ordered & paid deposit mine 6th April but got shuffled back from first run

Just sold the wife's Range Rover so a little put out by delay in delivery for her X P100D. With 3 kids we went with the 7 seat configuration & all options.

Happy we got the order in now they have set interior configurations, not a fan

Ordered 6 seats X in April, finished production in November and now the delivery is January 20th for the first batch of Model X deliveries in Japan. It seems Tesla originally planned to deliver in 4Q, but apparently all cars will be delivered in 1Q 2017.
Anyway, Tesla seems to have postponed delivery of almost all RHD Model Xs produced in November to the next quarter, unfortunately.
