Definitely connect the front T to the DRLs. The entire T looks illuminated from a 20 feet away on a cloudy day. Whereas at night, you can tell the light reflects from the side of the T.
Can someone tell me how to make this work with both DRL's and headlights? I have no need for a controller. Perhaps even always on whenever the car is powered on (off when off). This T is just too nice to see it only with headlights. Per a post above, do I need a diode? What type of diode and how do I hook it up?
Rick, thank you for thinking of making these Ts. Just last night I had three different "Tesla moments" with strangers asking questions and telling me that they love how the lighted T looks!
I often get the same comments about the Ts. I think of us owners as ambassadors for Tesla and electric cars. The more we do to make them cool and desirable the better.
Yeah maybe just a photo thing, flash reflection on the chrome... Too bad, a lighted front emblem would have been cool. But probably too costly to have even as a factory option.
