Rip off of Tesla touch screen -- it was bound to happen

    Received this from China today. It's an add-on being developed for all major car brands. Probably will look pretty akward and unintegrated when installed but it is a copy and they admit it.

    It's hard to tell from that image, but it looks like the HVAC controls on the bottom of the display might even show recirculated vs. fresh air, and fan speed, two things which we used to have in earlier software releases but were taken away.

    Well it looks like it is running android so yes it will be faster for sure.

    And you can bet your bottom dollar it runs video and intall your own apps and probbably be able to switch it off....

    And lets face it tesla didnt create the touch screen it been arround for years

    copying and improving on the Tesla innovations is bound to happen.

    Wondering if this would act as a potential replacement for our screen? I'm guessing the CPU would not be compatible for our cars... not that I need to change my screen.

    The new Toyota Prius Prime also apes the vertical touchscreen design, but not down to UI design elements like in the photos above.
