Rivian apparently building their own charging network

They existed but they weren’t a standard the way they are today.
So not to quibble, but words mean something.

you asserted:

Tesla made their chargers before there was a charging standard.

The fact is the standard (as in a recognized standards body recognized it) existed at the time Tesla created their chargers.


Now if you want to claim they weren't widely adopted, that may be true, but a separate thing from what you stated.

Boy do I wish someone would bring back Max. That was a really a before its time series.
