I would love to see other EV auto makers succeed, competition is a good thing. In retrospect, we see all the criticism of Tesla in past years now being visited upon the critics. Just wait until GM and Ford actually start making EV's in real-world numbers. Rivian has been the "Golden Child" but in reality they are just way behind Tesla as are all the others, and only now experiencing the actual challenge of mass producing electric vehicles.

Ford and GM have made incredibly subpar products so far. They're just immune due to owning the press.

Think about it. We've heard more about this stand alone fire in PA than we have on EVERY SINGLE BOLT being recalled.
