El Lay
I took the new Model Y on a road trip this weekend. Just noting the performance as a data point or two for those interested. Route was Pasadena to Summerlin, Nv. Details:
Miles driven 270
Single occupant plus small bag
A/C set to 70 both ways

Driving there was on Saturday from 4am to 8am, 78mph then 82mph
Driving back was on Sunday from 7am to 11:15am, 75mph entire way, for comparison

Saturday was 92kWh for 351 Wh/mi
Left at 80% charge
One long(ish) charging stop in Baker

Sunday was 281 Wh/mi
Left at 90% charge with 304 stated miles
Stopped at Yermo Supercharger: 150 miles traveled used 199 stated miles
14 minute charge added 104 miles
In Pasadena: 120 more miles traveled used 130 stated miles, down Cahon pass and slower traffic (<75mph) the last ~30 miles
Showing 79 miles left on the car.

On the way there when driving at 82mph, someone passed me going at least 60mph faster than that. Never seen anything like that before. On the way back I did see a truck full of Teslas headed up the 15 North.

P.S. I think my Model 3 used to get about 240 Wh/mi though I don't have individual trip measurements handy. Just FYI. So yeah, I upgraded to the bigger electron guzzler ;). I still can do the entire trip with one stop. The casino I frequent has free L2 Chargepoint charging too.
