I just did a 2,100 mile road trip to pick up a (diesel of all things) Sprinter camper van I bought in New Hampshire and bring it back to Colorado. I’m a very observant person when it comes to car related things, and I carefully noted any semis transporting cars to see what brands they were. Early on in the trip I saw a semi transporting a bunch of Model 3s, then about 2 hours later another one...and another one, etc. It was awesome to see 11 semis transporting Model 3s (none had any Model S or X on them) on the road trip. I noticed a couple random transporters like a Land Rover truck and 2 Chevy trucks, but the only other one I saw frequently was Jeep. I saw 4 Jeep transporter trucks and 3 of them exclusively had Gladiator pickups on them which was cool to see as I think it’s great vehicle. But far and away the majority was Tesla (and mostly white cars too since it’s now the free color), and I saw TONS of Teslas driving but it was almost entirely Model 3s. Made me happy to see because I know that means a lot of people are about to be happy owners. Not to be dramatic, but I consider getting your first electric car is life changing for the better, so it makes me smile when I see a semi full Teslas Didn’t get any pics of them, but here’s some of the scenery along the way!
