I spent months trying to find and purchase carbon parts for our 2.5 update project. I managed to get two and both had to be restored. Everything else was damaged, already sold, or would not sell the parts to me. I contacted over 25 carbon fabricators or suppliers who do custom carbon parts or carry carbon parts. I removed some parts from our car or purchased others to have the molds made for some of the parts listed below. I ended up with three sources. Two that do prepreg autoclave manufacturing and one that carries the lotus/tesla cross over parts already. Listed below are the preliminary prices for a group buy for small run quantities. Based on all the quotes I received and what the used parts have been selling for, I believe this are really good prices. There is also a program in the works to make sure that other owners who want parts in the future can more easily purchase for DIY project and maybe even have them installed (sorry to the owners from across the pond. You can jump in as well. I did not reach out shops over there since I did have their email information). I contacted all 5 EV shops in US that work on Roadsters about the carbon parts. Two said not interested, No response form two. One of the shops is actively working on it. Please PM on what parts you want or what which you are interested in so I can start/pass the list on and make sure you get contacted for the initial Group Buy. Information on the Full Program, additional photos and lower prices if there are enough interest will follow. My second round of parts have shipped or will be ready to pick up soon.
