do you still have the NEMA adapters? I need one for my roadster and can't find the original ones

At a push you can use marine ones. I have a couple from before I finally tracked down the originals. I also rotated the pins on a 6-30 as the wire gauge was the same as the 14-50 so with a screwdriver it can be used for both.

You might want to disconnect the neutral pin on the plug end since the Tesla adapters leave them disconnected. On the UMC side of the adapter, they use the neutral pin to indicate how many amps are available. For 40A, neutral is shunted to ground, for 24A and 16A they use a diode (in one direction or the other) and I think for 12A they leave the neutral pin open.

Since neutral and ground are going to appear to be (more or less) shunted together in most outlets, the UMC will probably see a standard marine adapter as a 40A source, but in some locations neutral and ground can drift pretty far apart and I wouldn't want to expose my UMC to any significant electrical potential between those two pins. Since it's not expecting any, the presence of a potential there might be a bad idea.
