Check this thread. Could be worth contacting the mentioned European companies that work on Roadsters. They might have knowledge of ”crashed cars” with functional batteries or other alternatives. Independent Roadster Service & Repair Shops
When looking for information on Danish cars there are several resources, some easier than others There is, of course, the official page of the Treasury department (difficult to use), and then there is a site such as nrpla.de - Tesla Roadster search: Nrpla.de - Find dit køretøj hurtigt - here you can see all the Roadsters (if they have been entered correctly to the system) that have ever been registered in Denmark. A total of 56. Currently registered: SFZRE2B13A3000016 SFZRE2B12A3000024 SFZRE2B1XA3000028 SFZRE2B39A3000037 SFZRE2B1XA3000076 SFZRE2B19A3000084 SFZRE2B10A3000085 SFZRE2B30A3000119 SFZRE2B10A3000121 SFZRE2B14A3000123 SFZRE2B3XA3000127 SFZRE2B30A3000234 SFZRE2B32A3000283 SFZRE2B19A3000313 SFZRE2B39A3000314 5YJRE11B481000365 5YJRE11B681000366 SFZRE2B13A3000369 SFZRE2B17A3000374 SFZRE2B1XA3000398 SFZRE2B17A3000407 SFZRE2B3XA3000418 SFZRE2B33B3000519 SFZRE2B17B3000523 SFZRE2B39B3000542 5YJRE1A16A1000560 SFZRE2B14B3000589 SFZRE2B15B3000715 SFZRE2B1XB3000726 5YJRE1A30A1000782 SFZRE2B12B3000784 SFZRE2B34B3000805 SFZRE2B19B3000846 SFZRE2B17B3000912 SFZRE2B1XC3000985 5YJRE1A30A1001012 Previously registered, not on the Danish roads anymore: SFZRE2B35A3000035 SFZRE2B16A3000124 SFZRE2B38A3000305 SFZRE2B17A3000343 SFZRE2B36A3000370 SFZRE2B37A3000425 SFZRE2B39A3000426 SFZRE2B36B3000546 SFZRE2B3XB3000551 SFZRE2B37B3000622 SFZRE2B33B3000651 SFZRE2B31B3000714 SFZRE2B38B3000743 SFZRE2B39B3000783 SFZRE2B3XB3000856 SFZRE2B38B3000869 SFZRE2B33C3000988 SFZRE2B35C3000989 Been imported, but not yet registered and on the road: SFZRE2B36A3000450 SFZRE2B1XC3000985
Thanks for that. I checked my list and I had all of them associated with Denmark (including Numberplates which I didn't post.) Your list seems complete as I didn't find any Roadsters spotted in Denmark which are not in that list. I did find some online resources to look up things, but I hesitate to post them because sometimes they get shut down if they are too well known. The ones you had listed as no longer registered... I had no idea. I had only been tracking "been seen there at some point", but no idea if they were "retired" for some reason. So, I don't know if those were sold to another country, or perhaps wrecked and written off and no longer in service. User R912 on this forum was nice to give us some information about some of those Roadsters here: Roadster History Europe/APAC SFZRE2B17B3000912 Alive and well in Denmark SFZRE2B13A3000369 Alive and well in Denmark SFZRE2B39B3000783 Supposedly alive in Denmark, but your list shows as not regged... (Maybe very recently unregistered?) SFZRE2B36A3000450 Norway->Denmark... Not registered because battery is bricked waiting for repair
Also, by the way, I had seen this pictures of a Roadster in Denmark which I think was using "dealer" plates, so I couldn't figure out which one it was:
Also, rns-e, you list this as not yet registered: SFZRE2B1XC3000985 But here it shows as registered: HW50382 - Nummerplader og registreringsnumre fra Motorregisteret
Yup. It was the owners fault, it was in storage with no charge resulting in a bricked battery. Will be back on the road again.
It's on the list I wrote, second to last on currently registred It's should not be under not yet registrered. Yes, BF 5069 is a dealerplate. Don't know the vin on that.
I bought SFZRE2B35C3000989 about two months ago here in Norway. It has been in the country since 2012, I think. You had some question mark next to the VIN in your list. Hope this helps.
How many Roadsters were originally sold in China? I didn't think there were any but I was recently contacted by an owner there looking for an adapter that worked with the GB/T charging standard.
I don't think so either. I heard about one that was gray markeded there to be picked apart and studied. Also there was a connection with motor manufacturing in Taiwan and maybe they got one there.
I had this one as maybe going to China: 5YJRE1A3XA1001146 - Very Orange, Exterior Carbon Also, some Roadsters were shipped to Pusan China with a final destination listed as Abu Dhabi, so maybe just passed through.
This is a great list @TEG! Do you have any information about VIN#2500? Where it is located right now?
