Question? When I purchased my roadster it was called a 2008, (Vin#466). On the screen it says is was assembled on May 1, 2009. Is this just because Tesla was running behind on deliveries? Did Tesla ever make a 2009 model or did they skip right to 2010? Please advise. Thanks.

No 2009 model and yes MOST “2008” Roadsters were really finished and delivered in 2009.

Yes... All the regular production 1.5s are considered 2008 models.
They skipped the 2009 model year, and switched to "Roadster 2.0" starting with VIN #501 in 2010 model year.
